Snuggle up with Cuddledry
Mummy brain – that state of confusion brought on by a cocktail of hormones, baby infatuation and sleep deprivation – is something most new mothers are familiar with. Yet it never ceases to amaze us how often this befuddled state coexists with heightened creativity, inventiveness and moments of sheer genius.
Adding to our growing list of ‘why didn’t we think of that first’ designs is the Cuddledry baby bath towel, recently featured on BBC’s Dragon’s Den. The ingenuity of this concept is in its simplicity. You sling the towel around your neck so it hangs down like an apron, leaving both hands free to bathe your wriggly newborn. When bath time’s over, you safely scoop bubba out, fold the towel and hood around him and nestle together in a Cuddledry cocoon.
Made from organic bamboo fibre which has naturally antibacterial properties, the towels are deliciously soft and double-layered to stop you getting drenched. It’s so straightforward, even daddy can use it. Now that’s what we call real Mummy brains! Not content with cornering the market in baby towels, the maestro mamas behind the brand have launched too cute Cuddlemoo and Cuddlebug hooded towels for toddlers. Check them out at the Cuddledry online store.
