Fly girls

As we cross over into 2009, you might want to dress your baby girl in something that's chic, comfy and reflects the spirit of transformation and renewal. We're loving this Butterfly print bodysuit from UK outfitters Funky Moose. The sleeveless all-in-one comes in pink and chocolate stripes with butterfly outlines in white and is available in sizes 0-12 months. Even if you've got a newbie, we'd advise getting one size up so your little caterpillar can still rock this in springtime when she's ready to spread her wings. Check out more fly fashions at Funky Moose.

How does your garden grow?

We're a long way from Spring but babies and big kids of all ages can still enjoy a spot of gardening with this psychedelic Play Garden by Kushies.

It features a host of crazy creatures and colourful plants that are all magnetized so they can be stacked together or simply arranged decoratively on the window box base. When playtime's done, the base can be zipped shut allowing you to take the garden wherever the sun shines (or not) and giving your little ones endless opportunities to exercise their green fingers.

The Play Garden makes a great gift and is just one of the fantastic selection at Revilo Toys, a shop that focuses on premium quality toys with that added cool quotient. Order latest from Revilo Toys by noon today (Tuesday December 23) and you might just sneak in a last minute Xmas gift.

Bugging out

How ridiculously snug does this baby look swaddled in his Bug in a Rug? These multipurpose baby wraps designed in Australia and distributed in the UK by Baby Rug are ideal for being out and about. They allow babies to be carried in and out of all 5 point harness and carry pouches without having to unwrap and rewrap them.

What's more, they come in multiple colours and a variety of fabrics -- from water resistant or polar fleece for wet, wintry weather to lightweight cotton and waffle for the warmer months. Bug in a Rug baby wraps are safe and simple to use and the cute factor is off the scale. I first spotted these at London's Baby Show but you can find out more at the Baby Rug web site.
